Choose
View
Page Break Preview from the menu bar.
In Print Preview mode, the document is sized so the entire page is visible on the screen.
OR
Click the
Page Break Preview button while in Print Preview mode.
[h=5]To Adjust a Page Break:
In Page Break Preview, adjust the breaks by dragging the page break if a worksheet prints on multiple pages.
[h=5]To Add a Hard Page Break:
In Page Break Preview, select the first row or column you want to appear in the page
after the hard break .
Right-click and choose
Insert Page Break from the shortcut menu.

[h=5]To Remove a Hard Page Break:
Right-click in the row below the horizontal page break.
Choose
Remove Page Break from the shortcut menu.
To return to Normal View, choose
View
Normal from the menu bar.
Remember, Page Break Preview is only useful if you are dealing with multiple page worksheets.

Print Preview button on the
Standard toolbar.
Click the Zoom button to get a better view of your data. Remember, it cannot be edited in Print Preview mode.
Click the
Margins button and adjust the margins by clicking and dragging the dotted lines (margins).
Click the
Page Break Preview button and observe Page Break Preview mode.
Choose
View
Normal to return to Normal View.

Once you've made all the necessary adjustments to your Excel
spreadsheet, you're ready to print. Printing in Excel is much like printing
in other Office 2000 applications, so we're reviewing printing basics and
emphasizing any differences.

[h=5]To Print your Document:
Click on the
Print button on the
Standard toolbar.
The document prints with default options.
OR
Choose
File
Print from the menu bar. The
Print dialog box opens.
Choose print options in the
Print dialog box
Click OK. The document prints.
Don't print your Excel document without checking spelling first! Excel includes two
tools to help correct spelling errors:
AutoCorrect and
Spelling . For a review of

[h=3]The Print Dialog Box in Excel
Many options are available in the Print dialog box including:

[h=5]Printer name The name of the default printer appears in this box. If you are connected to more than one printer, you can choose the name of the printer to use for this print job. Click on the drop down arrow and make a printer selection.
[h=5]Properties button View or change the printer's settings.
[h=5]Print Range Using the
Print Range option boxes, choose which pages of your document to print.
[h=5]Number of Copies Click on the up or down arrows in the
Number of Copies list box to choose the number of copies you want to print.
Click on any of the desired options. The options are activated.
Click OK to print your document and close the
Print dialog box.

Use Print Preview's functions, as explained in the previous lesson, to check and finalize formatting before printing.
